Care

Three kinds of care, one visit fee

Each page says what a visit includes, what we do not claim and when to see a physician first.

  • Spinal adjustment

A hands-on adjustment of the spine and other joints. Your doctor explains the risks before any neck adjustment.

    What a visit includes
  • Soft tissue work

Hands-on work on muscles and the tissue around joints, as part of a chiropractic visit.

    What a visit includes
  • Exercise and rehab

Simple movements your doctor shows you, to practice between visits.

    What a visit includes

Check in, talk, get examined, know the cost

  • Check in at the front desk

  • A talk with the doctor and a hands-on exam

  • X-rays only when medically necessary

  • A written estimate before you pay

  • A plan your doctor sets after the exam

Questions before you walk in

What happens at my first visit?

You check in at the front desk, then talk with the doctor and have a hands-on exam. The doctor explains what they found and what a plan could look like. X-rays are taken only when medically necessary. You pay for the visit before you leave, and you get an itemized receipt.

Is chiropractic care safe?

Every kind of care has risks. Soreness after an adjustment is common and usually short. Rare serious problems have been reported after neck adjustments, so your doctor explains the risks before any neck adjustment, and you can say no to any part of a visit. If you have a sudden severe headache or neck pain, new weakness or numbness, chest pain, or loss of bladder or bowel control, call 911 or see a physician first.

Will the adjustment hurt?

Most people feel pressure, not pain, and some feel sore afterward. The doctor changes the technique to fit you, and we stop whenever you ask.

How many visits will I need?

Your doctor sets a plan after the exam and changes it as you go. We do not promise a number of visits. You can stop at any time.

Do you take my insurance?

We are a cash practice and do not bill insurance for visits. You pay at the visit and can ask for an itemized receipt to send to your plan. Your plan decides whether it reimburses any of it. The page on how fees work has the details.

What if I do not use insurance?

Most of our patients pay this way. If you do not use insurance, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate. Ask us. We give you a written estimate before the visit.
